Hawaiian Electric seeks approval for 20-year power purchase deal with Pulehu Solar project on Maui

Hawaiian Electric filed for approval of a 20-year fixed-price power purchase agreement with Pulehu Solar. The project would add 20 MW of solar generation and 80 MWh of battery storage to Maui’s grid, with output equivalent to the annual electricity use of nearly 10,000 households.
