HCA Healthcare reported that 44 of its hospitals achieved placement on Healthgrades’ America’s 250 Best Hospitals list for 2026. Within that group, three facilities were distinguished on the America’s 50 Best Hospitals roster and an additional 15 hospitals ranked among America’s 100 Best Hospitals. These recognitions reflect superior clinical outcomes in areas such as stroke care, cardiac surgery and sepsis treatment, based on risk‐adjusted patient survival and complication rates from Medicare data over a three‐year period.

In its fourth‐quarter 2025 results, HCA Healthcare posted system revenues of $16.8 billion, up 5.2% year‐over‐year, while operating income declined 3.5% to $2.1 billion due to higher labor and supply expenses. Adjusted EBITDA margin narrowed by 70 basis points to 21.4%. Patient volumes increased 2.3% overall, driven by growth in outpatient and surgical cases, but inpatient admissions were flat and average revenue per case faced modest pressure from payer reimbursement trends.

Following the Q4 release, several Wall Street analysts raised their earnings estimates for HCA Healthcare’s fiscal years 2026 and 2027. One major healthcare equity research team increased its adjusted EPS forecast by 7% for 2026, citing anticipated improvements in operating leverage as labor cost inflation moderates and new hospital projects begin revenue contribution. Consensus revenue growth estimates for 2026 were also bumped to 5.8%, underpinned by ongoing expansion of outpatient surgery centers and surgical hospital joint ventures.
