HCWB•HCW Biologics kept its target IND filing timeline for HCW11-018b on track for the first half of 2027, aiming to launch a first-in-human solid-tumor study.
1. IND preparation
HCW Biologics said a recent FDA Type B meeting provided guidance on remaining steps to support the IND package. Clinical-grade cGMP manufacturing is underway for trial supply.
2. Therapy design
HCW11-018b combines a tissue factor-targeting, CD3-engaging BiTE design with IL-15 signaling and a TGF-β trap to counter tumor immunosuppression.
