HeartFlow Joins Congenital Heart Disease Alliance, Four AI Units Planned
HTFL•HeartFlow is one of five imaging technology companies named founding members of the new Global Congenital Heart Disease Alliance, aiming to accelerate commercial adoption of AI-assisted cardiac diagnostics. It will fund and place four Ventripoint VMS+ units to expand diagnostic access for congenital heart disease’s 16 million patients.
1. Alliance Formation
On June 15, the Global Congenital Heart Disease Alliance launched with five founding imaging technology firms to drive research, advocacy and commercialization of AI cardiac diagnostics for the 16 million patients worldwide.
2. HeartFlow’s Role
As a founding member, HeartFlow will collaborate on multi-center research, innovation showcases and technology validation, positioning it at the forefront of congenital diagnostics and expanding its clinical visibility.
3. Deployment Plans
The alliance’s initial initiative will fund and place four Ventripoint VMS+ cardiac imaging units in underserved regions, directly targeting the over 90% of congenital heart patients who currently lack timely access to advanced diagnostics.
