Hello Group Q1 Revenues Down 5.3% While Overseas Sales Surge 44.1%
MOMO•Hello Group's first-quarter revenues fell 5.3% to RMB2,386 million (US$345.9 million) with net income down to RMB291 million (US$42.2 million) from RMB358 million last year. Overseas revenues jumped 44.1% to RMB597.4 million (US$86.6 million) but paying users on Momo and Tantan apps dropped to 3.7 million and 0.6 million.

Hello Group reported first-quarter net revenues of RMB2,386.0 million (US$345.9 million), a 5.3% year-on-year decrease, and net income attributable to shareholders of RMB291.0 million (US$42.2 million), down from RMB358.0 million a year earlier.
2. Revenue Breakdown
Net revenues from Chinese mainland fell to RMB1,788.6 million (US$259.3 million), while overseas revenues grew 44.1% year on year to RMB597.4 million (US$86.6 million), driven by social entertainment and dating apps in the Middle East, North Africa and other regions.
3. Profitability Metrics
Non-GAAP net income declined to RMB328.8 million (US$47.7 million) from RMB403.8 million last year, with non-GAAP diluted net income per ADS of RMB2.05 (US$0.30) versus RMB2.34. Income from operations rose slightly to RMB309.7 million (US$44.9 million).
4. User Metrics and Outlook
Paying users on the Momo app decreased to 3.7 million from 4.2 million a year ago, and Tantan's paying users fell to 0.6 million. Management plans to focus on product innovation domestically and expand its overseas portfolio throughout 2026.
