U.S. spot natural gas prices at the Henry Hub averaged $2.99 per mmBtu in October, the lowest October average since 2024. That compared with $3.19 in October 2025 and a five-year October average of $3.92.

Henry Hub spot natural gas prices averaged $2.99 per million British thermal units in October, down from $3.19 in October 2025 and below the 2021–2025 October average of $3.92.

Henry Hub prices averaged $3.53 per mmBtu in calendar 2025, up from $2.19 in 2024 and below the five-year average of $3.72.
