Schaefer's background

Schaefer previously spent more than 16 years at Zappos, an Amazon subsidiary, rising to president and CEO.

He also served as Zappos CFO and vice president of finance, following earlier finance roles at Ernst & Young.

CFO succession announced

Herbalife said CFO John DeSimone will retire on Dec. 31, 2026.

Scott Schaefer, senior vice president of finance and transformation, will become CFO on Jan. 1, 2027.
