Herbalife tumbles after co announces CEO transition, reaffirms guidance

The board formed a committee to oversee the succession process; current CFO John DeSimone will serve as interim CEO beginning Nov. 1, according to the statement.
Gratziani will continue as a consultant focused on strategy and business development, and return his primary focus to his independent distributorship of nearly 700,000 distributors and preferred members, the company said.
Herbalife also reaffirmed its Q3 and full-year 2026 guidance it provided earlier this month.
With the decline, HLF stock is down about 17% year to date.
Shares fall after CEO transition announcement
Nutrition products seller Herbalife's HLF.N shares tumble 13.6% on Monday to $10.74, an over nine-month low, after the company announced a C-suite change and reaffirmed prior forecasts.
HLF stock is on track for its biggest one-day percentage drop since Feb. 15, 2024.
The company said early Monday that Stephan Gratziani will transition from his CEO role, effective Oct. 31, 2026.
