The qualification created the first publicly available NCAMP honeycomb-core database, aiming to cut qualification costs and speed aerospace structural design.
Hexcel expanded U.S. production for fast-curing HexPly M901 prepreg at Salt Lake City, targeting higher-throughput composite manufacturing with 4-5 minute cures.
The company also introduced an enhanced HexWeb Vented Flex-Core aluminum honeycomb to simplify manufacturing of highly contoured aerospace structures with integrated venting.
