Hexcel wins first NCAMP qualification for HRH-10 honeycomb core material
HXL•Hexcel secured the first NCAMP qualification for its HRH-10 honeycomb core, introduced a vented metallic honeycomb variant and expanded fast-cure prepreg production to Salt Lake City.
1. Materials advances
Hexcel disclosed aerospace materials advances at CAMX 2026, including the first NCAMP qualification for HRH-10 honeycomb core. The shared certification data is intended to cut aircraft development time and cost. Hexcel also introduced a vented Flex-Core metallic honeycomb variant for launch-vehicle and spacecraft structures, and expanded HexPly M901 fast-cure prepreg production to Salt Lake City, where cure cycles take minutes.
