Huntington Ingalls Industries expanded its ROMULUS 151 USV distributed manufacturing network to raise serial production capacity across multiple US shipyards.
Halimar Shipyard will build complete ROMULUS 151 vessels, supporting a strategy to increase throughput and speed delivery schedules.
Breaux Brothers will continue parallel builds in New Iberia, with four vessels in production to sustain near-term output.
Bayou Metal Supply & Manufacturing will supply major structural components via a dedicated production line to reduce delays and improve schedule certainty.
The plan targets higher national production capacity, stronger supply-chain resilience, faster fielding of autonomous maritime systems for the US Navy and allies.
