Huntington Ingalls Industries highlighted Odyssey Autonomous Control Solutions software to enable unmanned maritime systems to operate with limited human intervention.
The platform is positioned as a cross-domain autonomy layer to coordinate manned ships with USVs, UUVs and UAVs in contested, communications-degraded environments.
Installed base and architecture expand data and upgrade paths
The company cited delivery of more than 750 REMUS UUVs to over 30 countries, with over 90% still in service.
Odyssey ACS has also been integrated across more than 30 unmanned surface platforms, expanding the operational data used to develop and validate autonomy behaviors.
Its modular open architecture supports over-the-air upgrades, aiming to reduce vendor lock-in while accelerating sensor, payload, encryption and software refresh cycles.
