Hilton signs first Motto by Hilton hotel in Japan, targets 2029 opening in Kyoto
HLT•Hilton signed Japan’s first Motto by Hilton hotel in Kyoto, a 108-room property scheduled to open in 2029.
1. Kyoto hotel plans
The Motto by Hilton Kyoto Shijo Karasuma will include an all-day dining restaurant, lounge and open terrace. Heiwa Real Estate will develop the hotel, bringing Hilton’s Kyoto pipeline to seven hotels across multiple brands.
