Hims & Hers rises as Lilly expands weight-loss drug access through platform
LLY•Hims & Hers shares rose 6% after Eli Lilly’s Zepbound and Foundayo became available through its platform under a new agreement. Zepbound starts at $299 per month and Foundayo at $149 per month for eligible patients.
1. Drugs available through platform
Eligible patients prescribed Zepbound or Foundayo by providers on the Hims & Hers platform can access Lilly’s self-pay prices without leaving the platform. Zepbound will be available starting at $299 per month, while Foundayo will start at $149 per month; patients can complete consultations, receive prescriptions if appropriate and have the medicines shipped to their homes. Hims & Hers said it has never offered compounded copies of Lilly’s GLP-1 obesity medicines and has committed not to do so in the future.
