HIVE secures USD 129 million financing for USD 165 million Nvidia GPU cluster purchase
HIVE•HIVE Digital Technologies will buy a USD 165 million cluster of 2,303 NVIDIA GB200 GPUs for Canadian sovereign AI infrastructure, funded in part by approximately USD 129 million in three-year financing at 9% fixed interest. The cluster is expected to support Cohere’s three-year, USD 225 million contract, with delivery expected toward the end of the fourth quarter of 2026.
1. Financing and purchase
HIVE Digital Technologies will purchase a cluster of 2,303 NVIDIA GB200 GPUs for USD 165 million. BUZZ Alpha Cloud secured approximately USD 129 million in three-year financing at a fixed 9% interest rate, covering approximately 80% of project costs.
2. Cohere contract
The cluster will support Cohere’s three-year, fixed-term contract worth USD 225 million, including compute, connectivity and storage revenue. GPU delivery is expected toward the end of the fourth quarter of 2026.
