CCL•Holland America Line will deploy its flagship Rotterdam on five fall 2027 Mediterranean cruises, offering 10- and 11-day voyages calling at Lisbon, Naples, Kotor, Rhodes and Alexandria, with bookings now open. The season spans Western and Eastern Mediterranean routes and concludes with a 14-day transatlantic sail from Barcelona to Fort Lauderdale, boosting CCL’s European winter lineup.
1. Booking Launch for Fall 2027 Mediterranean Voyages
Holland America Line has opened reservations for five fall 2027 cruises on its flagship Rotterdam, marking the vessel’s first Mediterranean deployment. Guests can choose from 10- and 11-day tours through Western and Eastern destinations, with the option to combine trips or extend into a 14-day transatlantic crossing from Barcelona to Fort Lauderdale.
2. Key Ports and Shore Excursions
Itineraries feature marquee calls at Lisbon, Naples (Pompeii), Kotor, Rhodes and Alexandria, plus scenic cruising past Stromboli and through the Strait of Messina. Shore programs range from ancient ruin tours at Ephesus and Pompeii to cultural explorations of Montenegro’s medieval Kotor Old Town.
3. Expansion of Fall/Winter European Program
The Rotterdam deployment complements Holland America’s broader fall 2027–winter 2028 lineup, which now exceeds 20 sailings across Nieuw Statendam, Rotterdam, Oosterdam and Zuiderdam. This expansion reflects rising demand for extended European off-peak cruises and aims to increase onboard revenue through longer port stays and immersive experiences.
