Home Depot, Hertz Launch Military Contest with $1,000 Gift Cards and Vehicle Discounts
Home Depot and Hertz launched a contest awarding three military winners a Hertz vehicle, a Husky workbench and $1,000 gift cards. From May 1 to July 4, military customers can get up to $1,000 off a Hertz purchase and automatic Hertz Five Star status.
1. Contest Launch
Home Depot and Hertz have initiated a nationwide contest running May 1 through May 31 to recognize active-duty service members, veterans and their spouses. Winners will be selected ahead of July 4 and announced by Hertz’s judging panel.
2. Prize Package
Three contest winners will each receive a vehicle of their choice from Hertz Car Sales, a limited-edition Husky workbench, a Husky rolling jobsite box and a $1,000 Home Depot gift card, with an additional $1,000 card awarded to the nominator. One grand prize recipient will also receive a complete garage storage upgrade from The Home Depot.
3. Military Discounts and Benefits
Between May 1 and July 4, eligible military customers can receive up to $1,000 off any vehicle purchase at Hertz Car Sales and access to the largest selection of near-new 2025 models. Home Depot Military Discount members will be upgraded to Hertz Five Star status, enabling counter-free pick-up and enhanced rewards throughout the summer travel season.
