The Home Depot is launching a FIFA World Cup 2026 sweepstakes awarding a $10,000 gift card and World Cup Final trip, plus free adidas scarves with select Makita tool purchases. It will host 'Beckham’s Backyard' fan festivals and June 6 soccer workshops across its 2,359 stores to boost seasonal sales.

1. Campaign Partnership & Sweepstakes

The Home Depot has partnered with David Beckham to launch a FIFA World Cup 2026 sweepstakes where one winner receives a $10,000 gift card and a trip package for two to the World Cup Final in New York. Entries open March 19 via the Home Depot app and additional winners will receive match tickets and replica match balls.

2. Tool Promotions & Scarves

Beginning in May, customers who purchase select Makita power tools—including brushless drill sets, circular saws and reciprocating saws—will receive an Official FIFA World Cup 2026 adidas scarf shipped directly after purchase confirmation. This offer aims to drive higher average ticket values on key tool categories.

3. In-Store Fan Experiences

Across its 2,359 U.S. stores, The Home Depot will host ‘Beckham’s Backyard’ immersive fan festivals featuring pitch-perfect grass displays and soccer programming. On June 6, all locations will hold soccer-themed Kids Workshops to engage young fans and promote family-oriented store traffic.

4. Store Activation & Brand Reach

To reinforce the campaign, 475,000 associates will wear special-edition orange aprons featuring the FIFA World Cup 2026 logo alongside The Home Depot branding. This broad rollout is designed to increase in-store engagement and leverage major sporting excitement into home improvement sales.
