HMC•Honda's worldwide automobile production fell 12% year over year to 273,189 vehicles in September, its eighth consecutive monthly decline. April-September production decreased 6.6% to 1,597,121 vehicles.

Honda produced 273,189 vehicles worldwide in September 2026, down 12% year over year and marking its eighth consecutive monthly decline. Production in China fell 65.6% to 21,788 vehicles.
2. Sales and exports
Japanese domestic sales declined 11.9% to 56,157 vehicles, their second consecutive monthly decrease. Exports from Japan fell 1.3% to 7,427 vehicles, the first year-over-year decline in two months.

Worldwide production for April-September 2026 decreased 6.6% to 1,597,121 vehicles, marking the third consecutive first-half decline.
