Hongli Group plans to establish a New Energy Solid-State Battery Division leveraging its precision cold roll forming expertise for key materials and structural components in lightweight battery packs. The division will pursue technical collaborations, industry resource integration and pilot projects to assess advanced solid-state battery and energy storage opportunities.
1. Division Establishment
On May 19, 2026, Hongli Group announced plans to create a New Energy Solid-State Battery Division as part of its strategy to enter advanced materials and energy storage sectors. The division will build on the company’s 25 years of precision cold roll forming experience and existing production capacity of 11 profile lines.
2. Division Focus Areas
The new division will target development of key materials, structural components and lightweight pack solutions for solid-state batteries. It aims to support production processes and industrial applications, including battery module housing, energy storage system supporting parts and advanced material applications.
3. Strategic Implementation
Hongli Group intends to advance the division through technical collaborations, integration of industry resources, market development efforts and pilot projects. The company will provide updates as the planning and preliminary development stage progresses toward potential commercialization.
