Horizon Technology Finance posted Q2 net investment income of USD 7.4 million, or USD 0.11 a share, down 60.71% year over year.
Total investment income edged up 2.14% to USD 25 million, while total expenses climbed 37.01% to USD 17.39 million on USD 4.44 million merger costs.
Net realized loss narrowed to USD 6.12 million from USD 9.29 million a year earlier, while net unrealized depreciation widened to USD 38.53 million.
Net asset value fell to USD 6.23 a share at June 30, 2026 from USD 6.98 at Dec. 31, 2025, with net debt-to-equity leverage at 65%.
Debt portfolio yield eased 0.9 percentage points to 14.9%; committed backlog rose to USD 228 million and the buyback authorization increased to USD 20 million.
