H&R Block FY26 net income from continuing operations rises 20.8% to $736.3 million; revenue increases 4.9% to $3.95 billion

H&R Block posted fiscal 2026 net income from continuing operations rose 20.8% to $736.3 million. GAAP net income for the year increased 21% to $733.6 million, and GAAP earnings per share rose 28.7% to $5.69.
Revenue increased 4.9% to $3.95 billion. Management highlighted gains in NAC, volume in assisted tax preparation, international growth, and Wave.
Operating cash flow jumped 23% to $838.7 million, while total operating expenses rose 3.6% to $3.04 billion.
Capital return and fiscal 2027 outlook
The board raised the quarterly dividend 10% to $0.46 per share. For fiscal 2026, H&R Block returned $713.7 million through dividends and buybacks.
For fiscal 2027, the company forecast revenue of $4.11 billion to $4.16 billion and adjusted diluted EPS, on a non-GAAP basis, of $6.04 to $6.24.
