Hudson Technologies signed a joint development agreement with Icorium to commercialize Icorium’s patented extractive distillation technology for refrigerant separation.
The collaboration targets faster, higher-yield processing of complex refrigerant mixtures, including azeotropes, versus traditional fractional distillation.
The deal grants dedicated access to Icorium engineering, related IP access, exclusivity and first-mover advantages during initial commercialization.
The project aims to expand Hudson’s recovery, purification, and separation services, increasing saleable output from recovered refrigerants.
