Humacyte reported peer-reviewed one-year Phase 3 V007 trial results for its acellular tissue engineered vessel in The Lancet Digital Health.
Findings were previously presented at major medical conferences, showing the device outperformed autogenous fistulas for dialysis access at one year.
Benefits were strongest in higher-risk patients, including all women plus men with obesity and diabetes, groups with higher fistula failure rates.
Humacyte plans to file a supplemental Biologics License Application in 2H 2026 to expand Symvess into hemodialysis access.
