Humana named James “J.P.” Holland senior vice president, President of Medicaid, effective Aug. 17.
- He will lead the Medicaid unit serving more than 1.6 million members across 11 states.
- Holland was most recently President and CEO of Johns Hopkins Health Plans, overseeing Medicaid, Medicare, and other government-sponsored businesses.
- Earlier roles included CEO of the Alliance Business at Elevance Health, leadership posts at Amerigroup and WellCare Health Plans.
