Humana appoints new chief medical officer

Humana named Shantanu Nundy as chief medical officer, effective Aug. 31.

Nundy joins from Accolade, where he was executive vice president of care delivery and chief health officer. He previously led clinical innovation at Evolent Health, focused on value-based care and digital transformation across health systems.

The role includes shaping product design, platforms, and AI strategy.
