Average loans and leases grew 9% from Q1 to $189.3 billion; average deposits rose 9% from Q1 to $227.6 billion.
The nonperforming asset ratio widened 13 basis points from Q1 to 0.85%; the CET1 capital ratio eased to 10.0% from 10.2%.
Quarterly profit and revenue trends
Huntington posted Q2 net income of $727 million, up 39% from Q1; EPS rose to $0.33, up $0.08 from Q1.
Net interest income climbed 9% from Q1 to $1.95 billion; noninterest income increased 15% from Q1 to $785 million.
