HWH•HWH International to acquire Hearty Nova stake in China Gas Africa clean energy JV
HWH International entered a deal on Sept. 11, 2026 to buy Hearty Nova, which holds 51% of a Hong Kong joint venture.
The joint venture, China Gas Africa Clean Energy Investment Holdings, is 49% owned by China Gas Holdings.
Planned funding totals US$2.3 million, including US$1.17 million from HWH via Hearty Nova and US$1.13 million from China Gas Holdings.
The venture targets development of a natural gas processing plant in Nigeria, with additional project costs financed through third-party borrowing.
The transaction is with majority shareholder Smart Dynamics Technology, and closing remains subject to customary conditions.
