Hyatt appoints Amar Lalvani as first chief creative officer

Hyatt appointed Amar Lalvani as its first chief creative officer, effective immediately; he also serves as president and creative director of Hyatt’s Lifestyle Group.

1. Leadership appointment

Lalvani joined Hyatt in 2024 following its acquisition of Standard International, bringing the team behind The Standard and Bunkhouse Hotels. Earlier, he led global development for W Hotels, then acquired The Standard brand and formed Standard International.
