Hyatt partners with Air Canada Aeroplan on linked loyalty earning, redemptions

Hyatt Hotels entered a loyalty collaboration with Air Canada’s Aeroplan, allowing linked members to earn, convert, or redeem points across both programs.

Aeroplan points can be redeemed for World of Hyatt Free Night Awards starting at 25,000 points; Hyatt points can be redeemed for a 30,000-point Aeroplan flight reward certificate.

Point transfers include Hyatt-to-Aeroplan at 2:1; eligible linked Aeroplan Elite members can convert Aeroplan-to-Hyatt at 2:1, subject to caps.

The deal adds reciprocal status pathways, including a 90-day challenge for Aeroplan elites to fast-track to Hyatt tiers up to Globalist.

Hyatt Discoverist, Explorist, and Globalist members receive a CAD 20 Air Canada flight credit upon linking; Aeroplan status challenges for Hyatt elites are slated for later in 2026.
