Hycroft Mining Confirms WSP Global Completes Tailings Engineering, Report Due Q2 2026
WSP Global completed engineering work on additional lifts of the Hycroft tailings storage facility while WestLand Engineering handled the environmental studies. With these milestones achieved, Ausenco Engineering South USA can finish the Initial Assessment Technical Report with economics, anticipated in the second quarter of 2026.

Hycroft Mining clarified that WSP Global Inc. completed the engineering work for additional lifts on the tailings storage facility. WestLand Engineering & Environmental Services, Inc. was responsible solely for the environmental studies related to those lifts.
2. Next Steps for Technical Assessment
With the correction in place and work by WSP and WestLand finalized, Ausenco Engineering South USA can now complete the Initial Assessment Technical Report. The company expects the report, which will include economic analysis, to be finalized during the second quarter of 2026.
