Hycroft Mining Extends Brimstone Silver System 150m with 1,187g/t Intercept
Hycroft Mining extended its Brimstone silver system approximately 150 meters deeper with drill intercepts including 542.78 g/t over 35.5 meters and 1,187.29 g/t over 14.8 meters. The company operates two core rigs at Brimstone and Vortex with two additional rigs arriving soon to accelerate exploration.
1. Major High-Grade Drill Intercepts
Hycroft Mining reported that its 2025-2026 drill program at the Brimstone silver system extended mineralization approximately 150 meters deeper than historic intercepts. Highlighted results include 542.78 g/t silver over 35.5 meters, which contains an exceptional 1,187.29 g/t over 14.8 meters, and an additional intercept of 358.15 g/t over 11.2 meters. The system remains open at depth and along lateral extensions, offering potential for further expansion.
2. Operational Capacity and Exploration Plans
The company currently deploys two core rigs at its Brimstone and Vortex targets, with two more rigs set to arrive in coming months to accelerate the definition drilling. Hycroft is advancing technical work to refine targets before mobilization, aiming to systematically upgrade its understanding of the high-grade silver system and prepare for potential resource updates.
