Hycroft Mining Extends Vortex with 53.4m at 304g/t Silver, Adds Two Rigs
Hycroft Mining’s hole H25D-6083 at the Vortex zone returned 53.4 metres averaging 304.14 g/t silver and 1.33 g/t gold, including a high-grade 0.9 metre intercept grading 2,890 g/t silver and 33.70 g/t gold. Two additional core rigs will accelerate drilling at both Vortex and Brimstone, which remain open for further expansion along strike and depth.
1. Exceptional Drill Results
Hycroft Mining’s recent drill hole H25D-6083 at the Vortex zone intersected 53.4 metres averaging 304.14 g/t silver and 1.33 g/t gold. Within that intercept, a 0.9-metre section graded 2,890 g/t silver and 33.70 g/t gold at the structural intersection of the Break and Albert faults, confirming continuity of high-grade mineralization.
2. Drilling Expansion
The company is mobilizing two additional core rigs to accelerate exploration at both the Vortex and Brimstone zones. This expansion will enable simultaneous drilling programs, increase metreage, and target extensions identified by recent structural and geophysical models.
3. Zones Remain Open
Both Vortex and Brimstone zones remain open along strike and at depth, providing significant opportunity for resource growth. Continued drilling is planned to test extensions and upgrade inferred mineralization to higher confidence categories ahead of future resource estimates.
