Hyliion wins $42 million Office of Naval Research contract for megawatt-scale power units

The award has a 36-month base period with no options; funding was obligated at award using fiscal 2025 and fiscal 2026 Navy RDT&E appropriations.
Naval Research contract awarded
Hyliion won a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract from the Office of Naval Research valued at about $42 million.
The contract covers design, development, testing, and delivery of 2-megawatt and 3-megawatt power generation units under the HELMUR program.
