HYPR•Hyperfine reported more than 3,000 in-office brain MRI scans in the first year of its neurology office-market launch.
The company said the NEURO PMR study showed 92% concordance versus high-field MRI for structural abnormality detection in a blinded neuroradiology review. Concordance rose to 98% when clinical information was included in the assessment.
Hyperfine also said patients preferred portable MRI by a four-to-one margin, citing better comfort, anxiety, claustrophobia, noise and overall experience.
