1. ETF Launch and Asset Growth
Two ETFs linked to the HYPE token launched this month and have already amassed $122 million in combined assets. This rapid inflow underscores strong investor demand for exposure to Hyperliquid’s native token.
2. Fee Structure and Staking Yields
The Bitwise Hyperliquid ETF carries a 0.34% expense ratio and stakes approximately 70% of its holdings, generating a net staking reward of 1.2%. The 21Shares Hyperliquid ETF charges 0.30% and stakes around 66% of assets, delivering a 0.49% net yield.
3. HYPE Token Performance
HYPE has surged roughly 160% since the beginning of the year, reaching an all-time high and securing its position as the ninth-largest crypto asset with a $17 billion market cap. Its fully diluted market cap of $63 billion would place it among the top five tokens excluding stablecoins.
4. Hyperliquid Blockchain Mechanics
Hyperliquid operates a proof-of-stake network supporting perpetual futures, spot trading, lending, borrowing, and prediction markets, including pre-IPO contracts. The protocol channels about 97% of transaction fees into a buyback fund that has repurchased over $1 billion of HYPE, reinforcing token scarcity and value for holders.
