Hyperscale Data began installing Omnipresent Robotics OPR-R2 robots at its Michigan AI data center, starting a physical AI data-collection program.
- First OPR-R2 unit was assembled at the site on July 16, 2026.
- 143 robots are on order; up to 100 are currently expected to be installed in Michigan, subject to manufacturing and supply-chain timing.
- About 100,000 square feet is being developed for a dedicated robotics facility to support robot operations and AI training data processing.
- Expansion tied to the program could support more than 500 jobs over the next three years.
