Hyperscale Data Expands Michigan Facility to 300MW and Hires 500 Staff
Hyperscale Data is converting 100,000 square feet of its Michigan facility into an integrated AI and robotics hub with an initial 30MW capacity and plans to expand to over 300MW. The company intends to hire more than 500 employees in robotics, AI and infrastructure roles over three years.
1. Facility Transformation
Hyperscale Data is reconfiguring 100,000 square feet within its 617,000 square foot Michigan building to support AI model training, robotics assembly and real-world data generation, leveraging existing campus infrastructure.
2. Capacity Growth Plans
The site currently operates 30MW of power capacity with engineering studies underway to expand beyond 300MW, positioning it for large-scale AI computational workloads.
3. Robotics Integration
In partnership with AGIBOT PTE. LTD., the company will deploy intelligent robotics for data collection, system validation and environment testing, generating both machine-generated and human-centric datasets for advanced AI model development.
4. Workforce Expansion
Hyperscale Data plans to hire over 500 employees in robotics engineering, AI data science, infrastructure operations and support roles over the next three years to staff and operate the enhanced Michigan hub.
