Hyundai Translead has named Hendrickson Fleet Solutions as its exclusive commercial vehicle dealer in New York and New Jersey, adding three full-service locations to its network. This partnership enhances regional access to the Hyundai XCIENT Fuel Cell Class 8 truck, the world’s first mass-produced hydrogen-powered heavy-duty vehicle. Hendrickson will provide sales, parts, warranty support and hydrogen infrastructure services, enabling operators to deploy zero-emission fleets across the NYC metro area. According to Chance Parker, Vice President of EV Strategy at Hendrickson, this collaboration will decarbonize “more trucks and more fleet operations” by pairing Hyundai’s fuel cell powertrains with Hendrickson’s dealer-level service capabilities. Sean Kenney, CEO of Hyundai Translead, highlighted Hendrickson’s “exceptional expertise” as critical to expanding XCIENT Fuel Cell adoption in North America and advancing sustainable transport solutions for commercial fleets.
