IAMGOLD expects 2026 Côté Gold output at lower end of guidance
IAG•IAMGOLD expects attributable Côté Gold production in 2026 to be at the lower end of its 270,000–310,000-ounce guidance range. Third-quarter production was 64,400 ounces, bringing year-to-date output to 184,000 ounces.
1. Production and mine plan
IAMGOLD reported third-quarter attributable production of 64,400 ounces on a 70% ownership basis. Gold recovery declined to 90% from 93% in the previous quarter, reflecting downtime at one of the plant’s two Vertimills. September throughput averaged a record 37,100 metric tons daily, above the 36,000-metric-ton nameplate capacity. An updated mine plan due in the fourth quarter will target expanded reserves, a longer mine life and processing of approximately 40,000 metric tons daily.
