Iberdrola’s US subsidiary Avangrid held its ninth Innovation Forum on June 17-18 in Boston, targeting faster deployment of grid technologies.

The event theme, “Demonstrate and Deploy,” emphasized moving R&D concepts into operational use across electricity network modernization.

Forum agenda focused on grid buildout and new technologies

The agenda centered on transmission buildout, energy market changes, artificial intelligence, innovation financing, and the workforce skills needed to scale new technologies.
