iBio plans first-in-human trial of obesity drug candidate IBIO-610 in H1 2027
IBIO•iBio expects to start first-in-human trials of IBIO-610 in the first half of 2027. In an obese non-human primate study, the candidate combined with semaglutide shifted weight loss toward fat, suggesting improved muscle preservation versus semaglutide alone.

iBio highlighted results from an obese non-human primate study of IBIO-610, which were presented at EASD on Oct. 1, 2026. Combined with semaglutide, IBIO-610 shifted weight loss toward fat, suggesting improved muscle preservation compared with semaglutide alone.
