1. CFOs take larger AI roles
The study found that 56% of CFOs cite greater authority to reallocate capital. By 2030, 56% expect to help design AI financial and ethical guardrails, while 55% expect an added role in operating models; AI-first CFO-led organizations posted 23% higher revenue growth than peers in 2022–2024, and funding for new AI initiatives moved 15% faster.
