ICG Silver and Gold Expands Tuscarora District by 2,000 Acres and Identifies Deep Feeder
ICG Silver and Gold staked 104 mining claims covering approximately 2,000 acres on the western flank of its Tuscarora District and integrated CSAMT survey data with historical mapping to identify structural feeders. The Dacite and Beard Hill targets are linked to a deep McCann Creek structural zone, enhancing district-scale gold-silver potential.
1. Land Expansion and Consolidation
ICG Silver and Gold has added 104 unpatented mining claims covering about 2,000 acres on the western flank of the Tuscarora District in Elko County, Nevada. This strategic staking move aims to consolidate ground adjacent to First Majestic’s planned Jerritt Canyon mine restart, reinforcing the district-scale thesis.
2. Geophysical Survey Integration
The Company’s Controlled-Source Audio Magnetotelluric survey findings were merged with historical geologic mapping and regional data, highlighting compelling structural and lithological targets extending onto the newly staked claims. Figures from the survey outline key corridors that warrant detailed geological follow-up.
3. Target Model and Structural Feeder
Interpretation indicates the Dacite and Beard Hill targets represent surface expressions of a deeper system fed by the McCann Creek Structural Zone. This model suggests potential for both epithermal and Carlin-style mineralization, guiding future drill targeting for higher-grade zones.
4. Next Steps in Exploration
ICG plans 3D inversion modeling of all CSAMT datasets, integration of historical drilling into a 3D geological model, and refinement of high-priority drill targets across the expanded land package. The Company will also continue evaluating additional consolidation opportunities to enhance project value.
