ICLR•ICON publishes 2025 ESG report
ICON plc announced the availability of its ICON Cares 2025 report on ESG priorities, clinical innovation, patient impact and sustainability.
The company said its EcoVadis score reached 87/100, earning Platinum status and ranking in the top 1% of assessed organizations. Its CDP Climate Change score improved to B.
Clinical support and report access
ICON said its efforts supported 1,370 studies involving 411,400 patients, and contributed to 25 products gaining original or supplemental approvals.

Emissions, energy and supplier metrics
ICON said renewables supplied 97.05% of global electricity, electricity use fell 24% versus 2018, and Scope 1 and 2 emissions dropped 73.56% versus 2019.
Scope 3 emissions fell 6.74% versus 2022. The company said 94% of preferred suppliers had sustainability engagement plans, and 79% had an EcoVadis scorecard.
