Idaho Strategic reports high-grade gold intercepts at Golden Chest mine drill program
IDR•Idaho Strategic Resources reported high-grade gold drill intercepts from its 2026 near-mine exploration program at the producing Golden Chest Mine. The company added a third drill rig to accelerate 2027 mine planning and remains on track to move milling operations to the Murray Mill in early 2027.
1. Golden Chest drilling
The results support resource expansion and infill targeting of the Jumbo and Paymaster veins, which the company expects to drive future production growth. Ramp-up with the third drill rig starts on a 12-hour single shift; drilling at the Niagara copper-silver deposit is expected to begin in early October with a second contractor.
