IGI Q2 FY26 net income drops 38.7% to USD 20.9 million; combined ratio widens 4.6 percentage points to 95.1%

Premium growth and underwriting income
Gross written premiums increased 7.4% to USD 201.7 million, while underwriting income slipped to USD 29.5 million from USD 35 million.
Q2 net income falls as combined ratio widens
International General Insurance posted Q2 net income of USD 20.9 million, down from USD 34.1 million a year earlier; diluted EPS fell to USD 0.49.
Combined ratio widened to 95.1% from 90.5%, as the loss ratio rose to 57.9% with CAT losses of 18.8% tied mainly to the Middle East war.
