Don Smith named to lead Illumia higher education portfolio
Illumia, a Roper Technologies unit, appointed Don Smith as senior vice president and general manager for higher education.
Smith will oversee product, technology, commercial, and customer teams to integrate Illumia’s campus offerings across payments, identity, commerce, and foodservice.
He previously led Illumia’s integrated payments business, including adding PayPal and Venmo tuition options in existing payment portals.
Illumia is reorganizing product teams around customer outcomes, setting priorities across the portfolio rather than by individual product lines.
