IMAX CEO Richard Gelfond is on temporary medical leave as he undergoes treatment for pneumonia and will not participate in any public or private company events, including upcoming industry conferences.

In line with its contingency plan, senior executives – CFO Natasha Fernandes, CMO Anne Globe, Chief Legal Officer Rob Lister, and President Mark Welton – are jointly managing daily operations and maintaining strategic momentum during Mr. Gelfond’s absence.

Board Chairman Darren Throop is coordinating closely with the senior team, overseeing regular updates to the Board of Directors and ensuring operational transparency, with further announcements to follow as the CEO progresses in his recovery.
