IMAX China renews services agreements with IMAX Corporation through 2029
IMAX•IMAX China renewed services agreements with controlling shareholder IMAX Corporation for 2027 through 2029. Annual service fees are capped at HK$20.8 million for each year.
1. Renewed agreements
IMAX China’s board endorsed the renewal and amendment of service agreements with controlling shareholder IMAX Corporation. The agreements run from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029, with revised service scopes effective November 4, 2026. Annual aggregate service fees are capped at HK$20.8 million for each year of the renewed term.
2. Board abstentions
Richard Gelfond, Robert Lister and Natasha Fernandes abstained from the board resolutions because of their interests in IMAX Corporation.
